This Privacy Policy explains how wOWNit LLC ("wOWNit," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, retains, and protects information about you when you visit our website, submit an application or referral, or otherwise interact with our lease-to-own services. wOWNit is based in Arizona and offers lease-to-own (arrendamiento con opción a compra) agreements for construction and landscaping equipment. By using our website or submitting information to us, you agree to this Policy.

1. Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect the following categories of information:

Contact information — your name, phone number, email address, and mailing or business address.
Identification information — your Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) or Social Security Number (SSN), date of birth, and government-issued identification (such as a passport or matrícula consular), where needed to evaluate an application.
Financial information — income, employment or business details, requested equipment, and, where you choose to connect an account, bank account and transaction information obtained through Plaid (see Section 6).
Application and lease information — the details you provide on our forms, the equipment you request, and records related to any lease you enter into.
Dealer information — if you are a dealer, your business name, contact details, and information about the customers you refer.
Website and device information — IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and interactions with our site, collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 7).

2. How we collect information

We collect information directly from you when you fill out a form, apply, refer a customer, or contact us; automatically through cookies and tracking technologies when you use our website; and from third parties such as Plaid (when you connect a bank account) and our service providers.

3. How we use your information

To review, verify, and process your lease-to-own application or dealer referral;
To communicate with you about your application, lease, or referral by phone, SMS/text, and email;
To set up, service, and administer any lease you enter into with us;
To verify your identity and the information you provide, and to prevent fraud;
To comply with applicable laws, regulations, and lawful requests;
To operate, improve, and secure our website; and
For marketing and advertising, including retargeting, where permitted (see Section 7). You can opt out of marketing at any time.

4. Consent

We collect, process, and store your information based on your consent, which you provide when you submit our forms or connect an account, and as otherwise permitted by law. When you submit an application, you consent to be contacted by phone, SMS/text message, and email regarding your request; message and data rates may apply, and you may opt out at any time by replying STOP to texts or contacting us. You may withdraw your consent or ask us to stop using your information for a given purpose by emailing info@wownit.com, though this may affect our ability to provide services to you.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:

Service providers — companies that help us operate, such as GoHighLevel (customer relationship management and forms), Plaid (bank account connection), Netlify (website hosting), and Meta/Facebook (advertising and analytics). These providers may only use your information to perform services for us.
Leasing and funding partners — parties involved in underwriting, funding, or servicing a lease, where applicable.
Legal and compliance — to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, enforce our agreements, or protect the rights, property, or safety of wOWNit, our customers, or others.
Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

6. Bank account connection (Plaid)

If you choose to connect a financial account, we use Plaid Inc. ("Plaid") to gather your data from financial institutions. By using our services, you grant wOWNit and Plaid the right, power, and authority to act on your behalf to access and transmit your personal and financial information from your financial institution, in accordance with Plaid's Privacy Policy. You can review Plaid's privacy practices at plaid.com/legal. We use the information obtained through Plaid to verify account ownership, income, and your ability to make lease payments, and to help prevent fraud.

7. Cookies and tracking technologies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies, including the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, to understand site usage, measure our advertising, and show you relevant ads on Meta platforms and elsewhere. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can manage ad preferences through your Meta account settings and tools such as the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out (optout.aboutads.info).

8. Data retention and deletion

We keep your information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy — including to evaluate and service your application or lease — and to comply with our legal, tax, accounting, and recordkeeping obligations, after which we securely delete or de-identify it. We maintain a data deletion and retention practice designed to comply with applicable data privacy laws, and we review it periodically. You may request deletion of your personal information by emailing info@wownit.com; we will honor your request except where we are required or permitted by law to retain certain information.

9. Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and to opt out of certain marketing or data uses. We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request.

11. Children's privacy

Our services are intended for individuals who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of our services after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
